I've had the idea of doing a run of golden boy type posters for a while.
I'd like to have them in the same style as the orginal but i'm liking the sketched versions and on this brown envelope paper too!
I'm not sure where the idea of the poetry bit came from but i like it. It'd be a great zine/book to read to your kids at night.
The reason for the 'internet boy' & 'wasp boy' is becuase i spend waaaay to much time on the internet and i'm shit scared of wasps ( which also had a record population in birmingham for 2007) and the tie in to brum - i live here.
For a brief last year i made this Serial Square zine. The ideas i've been having recently about the 'Boy Posters' tie in with this nicely.
As Chiu suggested i combined pigeons and obesity as they both eat like shit. And, essentially are both, crap....hypothetically?!

Primark bags are great to draw on if you need brown paper, I've discovered. Though you might not be someone that always has them lying around. I love the Serial Squares zine, it looks like you know what you're doing! Oh and you could have fat people eating pigeons eating fat people eating pigeons eating fat people on a loop somehow :D
Thanks Lisa. I'll check out the primark bags for sure. I also had the idea of putting the pigens on a diet. Throwing them carrot sticks instead of chips or something. Testing it out for real too. But i bet you any money they'd snub the carrot in a jiffy!
Haha they're used to chips and pizza. They're basically students...
The Serial Squares zine is "well designed" and the content isn't too personal, so it can appeal to that target audience of voyeur type death/killer obsessed morbid fans - I read all of your pages - a little based on seven diaries?
No, i don't think i thought about the film once during the making of it oddly enough?! I'll be honest...i'm not sure why i chose 7. Maybe subconciously it WAS becuse if the film.
