Need to work into black lines. Lots of detail was removed when removing the white from the scanned picture but I think you can see where I'm going with it. Saying that, I'm not too sure that this is an improvement.

great sense of depth by keeping the same hue and just changing it's tonal value!
The colour's really nice and clean! The cel-shaded look compliments the varying line weights.
Although saying that, i'm unsure as to whether it packs the contrast that the monochrome version did. Maybe do more pictures/variations on the theme, see if colour strengthens detracts from the overall collection of pieces?
Yeah. I think it's the contrast in the b+w one that really makes it work, which is lost in this version, but it does give it a nice sense of depth. I'm gonna have a go at applying some grey dotted toner, see if that works. That way the contrast will still be there and so will the depth is I change the tone of it.
